Welcome to Fake Chat Detective, a mystery puzzle game developed by Aman Jain ("Developer", "I", "me", or "my").

Your privacy is simple and fully protected. Fake Chat Detective is designed to be played anonymously without requiring personal accounts or sensitive permissions.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Authentication & Profile Alias

Fake Chat Detective uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication.

We do NOT require or collect your real name, email address, phone number, Google account, or social media logins.

An anonymous, system-generated user ID (UID) is created to identify your session.

You may voluntarily choose a "Detective Name" (display alias) to represent yourself on the global leaderboard.

Game Statistics & Progress

To operate game progression and global leaderboards, the app stores:

Earned Detective XP, detective rank, and unlocked cases.

Total score and case completion stats.

Chosen Detective display alias.

This data is stored locally on your device via `SharedPreferences` and synchronized anonymously to Cloud Firestore.

Device & Technical Information

The app may process basic technical diagnostic data required for app stability:

Device model and operating system version.

App build version and anonymous crash logs.

2. Simulated Game Content & Device Security

Fake Chat Detective is 100% a simulated game.

All chat logs, suspect profiles, avatars, image attachments, PDFs, and evidence in the app are entirely fictional.

Fake Chat Detective does NOT access, read, or monitor your personal messages, SMS, WhatsApp, contacts, or photos.

The app operates completely inside an isolated sandbox environment.

3. Third-Party Services

Fake Chat Detective utilizes minimal, trusted Firebase infrastructure:

Firebase Anonymous Auth: Generates an anonymous session ID without collecting personal identity.

Cloud Firestore: Stores anonymous leaderboard scores and Detective XP rankings.

No third-party advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks are integrated into the app.

4. Data Sharing & Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Since Fake Chat Detective uses anonymous authentication without an account settings page:

Local Data Removal: Clearing the app data in your device settings (`Settings → Apps → Fake Chat Detective → Clear Storage`) or uninstalling the app will immediately delete all local save data and progress.

Leaderboard Data Removal: If you wish to have your anonymous leaderboard entry removed from Cloud Firestore, email support@amanjainstudio.site with your Detective Name.

6. Children's Privacy

Fake Chat Detective is suitable for general audiences aged 13 years and older. The app does not collect personal information from children or adults.
