Welcome to Cursed Kingdom: Chess, a mobile dark fantasy chess puzzle game developed by AMAN JAIN STUDIO (operated by Aman Jain, "Developer", "we", "us", or "our").

We take your personal privacy seriously. Cursed Kingdom: Chess is designed from the ground up as a single-player strategy puzzle game with a privacy-by-design approach. You are not required to create a personal account, provide your real name, email address, phone number, or link social media profiles to play the game.

By downloading, installing, or playing Cursed Kingdom: Chess, you acknowledge and agree to the data collection and usage practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Anonymous Authentication (Firebase Authentication)

To allow players to play immediately without tedious sign-up forms while still maintaining level progress and unlocks, Cursed Kingdom: Chess uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication:

We do NOT collect your email, name, phone number, contacts, or Google Account credentials.

A randomly generated, anonymous Unique Identifier (UID) is created on your device by Firebase Auth to uniquely identify your anonymous game session.

B. Game Progress & Save Data (Cloud Firestore & Local Storage)

To enable seamless gameplay and ensure your hard-earned puzzle completions are not lost, the game stores:

Highest level unlocked and world progression (e.g., Shadow Gate, Blood Citadel, Misted Ruins, Void Temple, Final Realm).

Best move counts, level completion status, and earned star ratings.

Sound and music preferences.

This data is stored locally on your device via `PlayerPrefs` and synchronized anonymously to Cloud Firestore. This information is purely related to gameplay mechanics and cannot be used by us to personally identify you.

C. Technical & Diagnostic Information

To maintain stability, fix crashes, and optimize frame rates across different Android devices, the game and its underlying engine (Unity) may automatically collect basic technical diagnostic data:

Device model and manufacturer.

Operating system version (Android version).

Screen resolution and graphics capabilities.

Anonymous crash logs and performance telemetry.

D. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

Cursed Kingdom: Chess displays non-intrusive advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including:

Banner ads displayed on the main menu.

Occasional interstitial ads between level completions.

Optional rewarded video ads (watched voluntarily by the player to receive hints or skip puzzles).

Google AdMob and its advertising technology partners may collect and process technical identifiers and telemetry, including:

2. Device Permissions

Cursed Kingdom: Chess is intentionally built without intrusive permissions:

NO access to your Camera.

NO access to your Microphone.

NO access to your Contacts or Phone State.

NO access to Precise GPS Location.

NO access to Photos or External Storage files.

The only permissions required are standard network permissions (`INTERNET` and `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`) necessary to synchronize anonymous level progress to Cloud Firestore and load AdMob advertisements.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data processed is used solely to:

Provide, maintain, and deliver the puzzle gameplay experience.

Save and synchronize puzzle progression across game sessions.

Provide hints and puzzle assistance through optional rewarded ads.

Diagnose technical glitches, bugs, and optimize battery and hardware performance.

Prevent fraudulent manipulation of ad units and game leaderboards.

Comply with applicable legal requirements.

5. Data Sharing & Selling

6. Data Retention & Account / Progress Deletion

Because Cursed Kingdom: Chess uses anonymous authentication:

Local Data Removal: You can immediately wipe all local save files, puzzle records, and settings from your device by clearing the app data in Android Settings (`Settings → Apps → Cursed Kingdom: Chess → Storage → Clear Storage`) or by uninstalling the application.

Cloud Progress Removal: If you wish to delete your anonymous cloud save record from Cloud Firestore, simply email support@amanjainstudio.site with your request, and our team will permanently delete your cloud record within 7 business days.

7. Children's Privacy

Cursed Kingdom: Chess is a chess puzzle game suitable for general audiences aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has inadvertently provided personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete it.

8. Governing Law & Updates

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. We may update this policy periodically to reflect game updates or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on our official website with a revised Effective Date.
